I enjoy perusing flea markets and antique stores for long forgotten and often worse for wear items to bring back to life in a new form, and often a new purpose. Storage solutions for kitchen, bath, and pantry make best use of space and improve access to items. I love to cook and enjoy making cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets. A particular passion is using "scrap" wood and found items to fashion into unique boxes, artwork, and walking sticks.
My designs are clean, simple, and seek to bring out the natural beauty and character out of the material being used, whether it is lumber from a big box store, lumber milled from trees I've cut down myself, or items found while tramping though the woods. Whether it is a decor item, storage solution, furniture, or kitchen gadget the goal is to create an item that feels good to the hand, is pleasing to the eye, and makes your home feel serene.
